Taylor Lagroon is a law clerk at the Nelson Law Firm of Bluffton, LLC, where, upon passage of the South Carolina Bar, Taylor will become an Associate Attorney. Taylor focuses her work on estate planning, probate, and business formation. She brings a unique background to her legal practice, combining a comprehensive education in law and environmental science with a passion for serving clients through some of life’s most challenging times.

Taylor earned her Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law, while concurrently completing a Master of Science in Earth and Environmental Resource Management at the University of South Carolina. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University

With a focus on estate planning, probate, and business formation, Taylor is known for her methodical and detail-oriented approach. Her work is rooted in a deep sense of empathy and understanding, always striving to ensure that clients feel heard and supported during difficult transitions. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her clients, providing both legal expertise and compassionate guidance.

Taylor moved to Bluffton in the spring of 2025 with her husband, Ryan, and their dog, Harley. When not working, Taylor can be found in the woods, on the water, or by the beach.
